![]() ![]() I couldn't be more happier.īoth of these games have the best soundtracks EVER. I got 2 more games: Fatal Fury 3 and Samurai Shodown 3. but yeah, if I'm gonna play through the game again it's gonna be in this emulator.Įverything saves to the harddrive on your PC and I THINK that the DC emulator has VMU support for saves. Overall it's pretty easy but if you have any questions about how to set it up let me know.īack in the day I played Samurai Spirits RPG on the Saturn, and the load times are pretty bad, but I didn't care too much because I like Sam Sho. Also you might have to mess around in the ini file (which is in english) to change the button configuration to whatever you want. You also need to download the Neo Geo CD Bios, but you're on your own to look that up in google because it's illegal to download that. The program is simply called NeoGeo CD Emulator. I downloaded the one that was Japanese and a few others, but I only got the one that said it was Japanese to work. ![]() If you want to know where I downloaded the emulator, it's at. Seriously you guys, if you don't want to shell out hundreds of dollars for carts but want to own and play neo geo games (not just roms) this is the way to go. I'm playing them on the PC for now with plans to switch over the DC when that emu because a little bit more stable. If you've never had a chance to try out the CD versions of some of these games you should definately check them out. and again I was impressed with the arranged versions of the classic Baseball Stars 2 music. I guess you can trade for players after each game? I only played through one game. The next game I played was Baseball Stars 2. Once again it's pretty much the exact same thing as the AES version with even better music, and a fraction of a second load time in between battles. I used to have the PS1 version and it was no where near as good as this. So after I beat the game and looked through the art gallery, I decided to try out Samurai Shodown 2 next. There's like a 2 second load between battles. It made the experience SOO much better then just playing the AES home version. Damn, I'd forgotten how good the ASTs for all those characters sound. The graphics are barely a step down from the real version and the music is WONDERFUL. I set up everything using some Japanese emulator, popped in KOF 97. ![]() OK, I've heard such bad things about the load times of the Neo Geo CD, and great things about the emulators on the PC, and with the DC now supporting Neo Geo CD games (kind of) I decided to pick up some games. ![]()
